Worried about the new class of flea and tick medications? They’re called isoxazolines and a lot of owners are very worried after seeing online videos showing pets having seizures and other side effects. The products like Bravecto, Nexgard, Simparica and Credelio concern the FDA and they’ve added an alert to the products and a label requirement as well.

If you’re confused about what to do, be sure to read the blog on our experience in practice with isoxazoline based products.

You can also click on the link here to see a chart with all of your options for dogs and cats. It’s from a very reputable source, the Veterinary Information Network. While dated in 2016 prior to the FDA alert, it does a great job of explaining how each flea and tick medication works and their use instructions.
